Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Orientation and Transition Programs department on the Gainesville campus. Student will assist with marketing and communication, general office management, events, research, collaborating with other campus partners, assisting SOS staff in multiple locations, and other special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Updating inventory
• Maintaining storage space
• Researching work based on the needs of the office
• Answering/making phone calls (if necessary)
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
• Professional written and verbal communication
• Positive and friendly attitude
• Patience and the ability to adapt
• Creativity and self-motivation

Required Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graphic Design (Adobe, Canva, etc.) experience preferred.
• Knowledge of UNG resources and systems (Banner, UNGconnect, UNG Mobile App, MyUNG, D2L) preferred.
