Compensation Range: Final compensation offers are determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, internal equity, and alignment with organizational budget. $21.70 - $27.13

Position Duties: Provides comprehensive administrative support to the Undergraduate Financial Aid Office, a high-volume, student-centered operation. Responsibilities include managing a wide range of administrative functions, coordinating priorities, and supporting office operations in alignment with departmental objectives and Loyola University Maryland's mission and institutional goals.
Essential Functions:
- Provide confidential administrative support to the Undergraduate Financial Aid Office. Serve as a primary point of contact for the office by welcoming visitors and responding to phone calls, emails, and routine inquiries from students, families, and campus partners. Provide timely, professional, and responsive customer service; resolve routine issues and refer complex questions, requests, or concerns to appropriate staff as needed.
- Ensure compliance with University policies and applicable federal and state financial aid regulations, including FERPA and Title IV requirements. Support a high-volume, student-centered operation while balancing multiple priorities in alignment with Loyola University Maryland's mission and institutional goals.
- Support onboarding and transition activities for new and continuing students as they relate to financial aid, including participation in outreach events. Maintain, update, and track student financial aid data within University systems. Serve as a liaison with campus partners to resolve student issues and support shared timelines.
- Assist with reviewing financial aid related requests and applications, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted in compliance with established timelines and requirements. Support students through complex processes related to financial aid eligibility, verification, and documentation submission.
- Sort, distribute, and manage incoming mail and correspondence. Maintain office equipment and supplies, including ordering materials, scheduling repairs, and troubleshooting basic technical issues. Prepare invoices and track payments; process budget adjustments; assist with monitoring departmental budgets and expenditures.
- Draft and edit routine correspondence, forms, and written communications. Coordinate meetings, prepare meeting materials; take and transcribe minutes; and create spreadsheets, reports, presentations, and other documents to support office operations. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education Required: High school diploma or GED
Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree
Work Experience: 1-3 years of administrative support or related office experience
Describe Required Experience: Minimum of 1 years related experience required.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of office practices, procedures, systems, and equipment. Ability to answer multiple phone lines while maintaining poise and providing first-rate customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (i.e Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and data systems. Excellent written and oral communication skills, efficient work habits, strong organizational skills, and strong attention to detail. Strong multi-tasking and follow-up skills with ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines. Ability to produce accurate work and prioritize effectively. Ability to prepare and maintain budgets and generate Excel and other reports. Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion. Demonstrated experience organizing, planning, and coordinating events. Ability to support the University's goals for institutional diversity, as well as the goals and values of a Catholic, Jesuit education.
