RESEARCH INVESTIGATOR
The Department of Pathology at Michigan Medicine has an open Research Investigator position to join our faculty in Ann Arbor, MI. Successful candidate will focus on the development of novel immunomodulatory therapies targeting transcriptional regulators and ubiquitin-related enzymes. Be able to identify novel mechanisms of immune evasion and translate them into therapeutic strategies. The person will lead efforts to refine and advance small-molecule UBA1 inhibitors toward clinical translation, supported by Innovation Partnerships grants. This will involve mechanism-of-action studies, biomarker development, and combination strategies with immune checkpoint inhibitors. They will also provide experienced hands-on leadership and supervision to more junior lab members.
- This position requires a PhD
- Must be an experienced researcher, with at least 5 years
- Have hands-on experience with leadership and supervision
- Must have experience with development of novel immunomodulatory therapies.
- Experience in refine and advance small-molecule UBA-1 inhibitor
