"Research Support Associate"

Rutgers The State University is seeking a Research Support Associate in the Rutgers Center for Advanced Biotechnology & Medicine of Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Reporting to the Program Manager of the New Jersey Kids Study, the Research Support Associate will perform tasks related to participant recruitment, consent, follow-up and retention throughout the study. These tasks will require extensive use of online data management and tracking systems. The Research Support Associate will help support the research team in the assembly and shipment of biospecimen collection kits to and from study participants. Work will mostly be performed onsite, with the possibility of remote work when feasible according to the study's needs.

• Accurately documents all contact with participants using online data systems and tracking spreadsheets.
• Tracks participant progress in completing study activities and provides follow-up as needed.
• Coordinates the mailing and delivery of biosample kits to participants according to established study timelines.
• Schedules and conducts virtual meetings with participants related to study consent and questions.
• Assists with data collection, database management and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintains quality control standards to preserve the integrity of data and findings.
