DESCRIPTION (field, expectations, comments):
A person applying for this position must meet the requirements set out in Art. 113 of the Act of July 20, 2018 Law on higher education and science (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668, as amended), in the Statute of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW Department VIII)
The candidate should hold a PhD in health sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, chemical sciences or biological sciences or in agricultural sciences in the field of food and nutrition technology and be prepared to teach in Polish and English. In-depth knowledge of human health issues is required, with a particular focus on conducting biochemical analyses and interpreting their results to diagnose nutritional status. Knowledge of basic food analysis methods is welcome.
The candidate should have:
- a proven academic record consistent with the unit’s profile, in the form of publications in reputable scientific journals indexed in the JCR database over the last 5 years;
- proven work experience within a research unit;
- at least 2 years’ experience in teaching courses in the above-mentioned fields of health sciences and/or human nutrition is desirable;
- documented experience in presenting research findings at academic conferences, including international ones;
- good command of Polish and English, both spoken and written, sufficient to deliver teaching;
- computer skills in MS Office and statistical software (e.g. STATISTICA, STATA).
