Reunion Giving Specialist
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The Reunion Giving Specialist will provide part-time, interim support to the Office of Development and Alumni Relations with a focus on reunion giving and event coordination.
The individual will assist with alumni outreach and stewardship, fundraising, event support, and follow-up--particularly around key initiatives such as Reunion Giving, Alumni Day, Einstein Reunion, and also on an as needed basis for activities such as New Student Orientation, Parent Programming, Campus Tours, and "Einstein in Your Neighborhood" regional gatherings.
Key Responsibilities
Alumni Engagement & Outreach
- Conduct targeted outreach and make fundraising calls to alumni via email, phone, and other channels to encourage participation in Reunion Giving and related initiatives.
- Provide follow-up communications to alumni and volunteers in preparation for and following events.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date alumni records and contact logs.
- Support stewardship of alumni class leaders and volunteers for reunions and other programs as lead by the Associate Director of Alumni Relations.
- Contribute to the preparation of personalized outreach for high-level prospects and volunteer leaders.
Event Planning & Support
- Assist in logistical planning and coordination of: Alumni Day, Reunion, as well as other events and programs coordinated by the office of Development and Alumni Relations during this period of time, as needed
- Coordinate RSVP tracking, invitation lists, name badge creation, and event materials.
- Participate in day-of event execution including registration, staffing, and guest engagement.
- Liaise with vendors and internal partners to ensure smooth event operations.
Communications & Content Support
- Draft and edit communications including reunion giving solicitations, event invitations, reminder messages, acknowledgment notes, and stewardship updates.
- Collaborate with the teams on content and scheduling for email campaigns and digital promotions when needed.
- Assist in preparing content for event briefings, reports, social media posts, newsletters or reunion publications.
Administrative & Programmatic Support
- Track alumni engagement data and outreach metrics using CRM/database systems (The Raiser's Edge).
- Maintain event and outreach calendars to ensure coordination with Development, Communications, and Academic Affairs timelines.
- Participate in regular team check-ins and planning meetings to report progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
Schedule & Work Expectations
- Approximately 19 hours per week, with flexibility depending on project and event timelines.
- Hybrid schedule: Some in-person presence expected for key events and team meetings; otherwise, remote work is supported.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Prior experience in alumni relations, development, event planning, or higher education.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM software and event management tools, the Raiser's Edge and it's OLX, in particular, a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance, mission-driven, cross functional, team-oriented environment.

USD $55.00/Hr.
