Leading the charge in implementing streamlined operations and enhancing software quality, you'll collaborate closely with Product Managers/Owners and delivery teams through Agile practices. You will be able to identify business needs and have the technical expertise to lead the design and delivery of solutions. Your expertise in requirements management, business modelling, data analytics, software quality assurance, and agile software delivery will drive ideas and add value delivery to staff and students.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the vital link between business and technology - translate complex needs into clear, actionable solutions that deliver real impact.
- Analyse business processes, workflows, and requirements to uncover opportunities, drive efficiency, and shape better ways of working.
- Partner with Product Managers/Owners and delivery teams in an Agile environment to turn ideas into high-quality, value-driven outcomes.
- Use data to tell the story - identify trends, generate insights, and support smart, evidence-based decision making.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and lead collaboration across teams to design, deliver, and ensure solutions meet business needs end-to-end.
Selection Criteria:
- Extensive experience in the analysis, documentation and mapping of business processes.
- Demonstrated high level project management skills with the ability to manage and implement project plans to achieve desired outcomes within budget and resourcing constraints.
- Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills with demonstrated skills in the design of re-engineered processes and/or system functionalities.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal and oral communication skills with the ability to consult and liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
- Demonstrated high level written communication skills with the ability to compose clear business cases and project reports.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a rapidly changing and fast paced environment.
Desirable:
- Understanding of software development lifecycles and ICT standards.
- Prior experience delivering in the higher education sector.
- Certifications in AWS such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
- Experience using digital whiteboarding tools such as Miro and Figma.
- Recognised Agile or SAFe certification.
Role Requirements:
As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered.

This Continuous G08 role attracts a remuneration of $119,125 - $126,950 (G08) + 17% superannuation.
