Senior Industry Engagement Adviser
- Lead UWA’s industry partnership strategy to drive innovation, knowledge exchange, and high‑impact employability outcomes.
- Shape and manage major domestic and international agreements that strengthen UWA’s position with industry and host organisations.
- Part-time (0.6 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis to 31 December 2026.
- Base salary range: $116,262 – $127,078 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

Enterprise Education serves as the bridge between the University’s academic community and the engines of welfare and prosperity for Western Australia. The area is responsible for designing, enabling, and scaling high-impact partnerships between the academic community and external stakeholders across industry, government, and the not-for-profit sector. These partnerships deliver a foundation for contemporary and impactful career services and experiential learning pathways relevant to all students. They also support the development and delivery of co- and extra-curricular experiences that uplift students, partners, and the broader community. About the opportunity
- Source, develop and maintain industry partnerships that enable sponsorships, placements and long‑term collaborations.
- Lead consistent processes and best‑practice frameworks for industry engagement, WIL agreements and partner onboarding.
- Oversee negotiation, execution and monitoring of agreements, ensuring quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
About you
- Strong business development capability with demonstrated commercial acumen and partnership‑building experience.
- Skilled in developing, negotiating and managing sponsorships and agreements across diverse stakeholders.
- Advanced written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including presenting and managing relationships.
- Highly organised, able to coordinate multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experienced in designing and implementing best‑practice engagement processes, preferably in higher education.
