Key responsibilities will include:
- Support compliance and governance with all relevant regulatory frameworks and accreditation standards (e.g., ISO 9001, animal ethics, quarantine, OGTR, WHS, NFAS), including maintaining accurate records, supporting audits, and liaising with stakeholders.
- Manage quality systems and processes, including the development, implementation, and review of quality management and training systems for research administration and compliance.
- Provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to QASP management and the Executive Committee, including coordination of documentation, communications, agendas, minutes, and strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate research-related activities and information management, such as maintaining databases and organising research seminars, workshops, and research days.
About You
- A degree with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.
- Experience in research administration, with sound knowledge of research policies and procedures—or the ability to quickly acquire this knowledge.
- Advanced computer skills, including word-processing, data management, spreadsheets, and web maintenance; proficiency in Smartsheet is highly regarded.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and deliver excellent customer service.
- Demonstrated ability in event management, project coordination, audits, and compliance with regulatory frameworks and accreditation requirements.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively, exercising judgement, initiative, and teamwork as required.
