Student Administration Officer
About This Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an Administration Officer to play a key role in academic and student administration, including supporting academic committees and contributing to the smooth delivery of academic governance processes. Working within a collaborative team, you will provide high-quality administrative support, deliver clear and timely advice to stakeholders, and help maintain accurate academic records across university systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Provide end-to-end administrative support for academic committees, including agendas, papers, and minutes
- Manage academic data and ensure compliance across university systems and processes
- Contribute to policy, process, and workflow improvements to strengthen academic administration
- Provision of information and advice on a range of administrative matters to a wide range of stakeholders, through various channels of communication.
- Provides high-level administrative support and coordination for the Academic Services Division (ASD). This includes but is not limited to assessing applications, coordinating and processing requests, documentation, and communication for the respective ASD teams.
- Assist with internal, government, and regulatory reporting, student enrolment surveillance, quality assurance, and risk management processes as required.
Base salary will be in the range $82,133.76 - $91,295.50 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 5)

About You
- Relevant undergraduate qualification, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Sound understanding of academic or administrative processes, or the ability to quickly develop this knowledge
- Experience using information systems and standard office software (e.g. Microsoft Office), with the ability to become proficient in university systems
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines, and work independently using sound judgement
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and effectively across diverse stakeholder groups
