0.6 FTE Part-time, Ongoing position at HEW Level 5.
Parramatta South Campus with flexible working arrangements.
Salary: $84,096 – $95,103 per annum, plus 17 percent Super and Leave Loading.
Support the delivery of community-focused legal services and experiential learning at the WSU Justice Clinic.
The Opportunity
The WSU Justice Clinic is Western Sydney University's community legal service and a central platform for experiential learning within the School of Law. As the Administration Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality services to students, clients, partners, and academic staff. In this role, you will ensure smooth operations across the Clinic’s activities, including administrative processes, student placements, host organisation engagement, and subject support.
You will contribute to the coordination and administration of experiential learning subjects by maintaining accurate records, preparing teaching materials, supporting enrolment processes, and ensuring compliance with university systems. You will also build strong relationships with stakeholders across the School of Law, external partners, and clinic staff to support the effective operation and continued growth of the Clinic. [PD -]
A key part of this role is providing a high level of administrative support in a legal service environment, including records management, conflict checks, SharePoint and website maintenance, and assisting with publications and reporting. You will also help plan and execute engagement events that raise the Clinic’s profile among community and industry partners.
What Success Looks Like:
- Deliver accurate and timely administrative support across the WSU Justice Clinic’s programs, ensuring compliance with records management and legal file handling requirements.
- Coordinate placements and internships effectively, maintaining productive relationships with students and host organisations.
- Provide reliable program and subject support, including teaching site updates, enrolment administration, and materials preparation.
- Contribute to engagement initiatives and events that strengthen community and industry connections.
- Support operational continuity through proactive communication, organisation, and collaboration with Clinic staff.

About You
- Demonstrated experience providing high-quality administrative support in a complex environment.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to liaise professionally with students, staff, and external agencies.
- High-level computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office, databases, and records management.
- Proven ability to manage workflows, meet deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Organisational skills enabling effective prioritisation across multiple tasks and stakeholder needs.
