Job Summary

The Department of Computer Science is seeking a motivated and skilled student assistant with extensive experience in programming and software development. The selected candidate will work closely with the chair of the department on various tasks, including assisting the department chair on administrative work and tutoring students majoring in computer science. Responsibilities

• Provide Tutoring for undergraduate students in core computer science subjects.
• Assist with Departmental Projects and Research
• Support the department chair with administrative tasks such as organizing meetings, preparing reports, etc.
• Provide technical support during department workshops, events, and conferences, ensuring smooth operation of software, setting up systems, and troubleshooting issues as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Current Middle Georgia State University student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or other relevant languages.
• Strong Academic Performance in Computer Science
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Time Management and Organizational Skills
