(001) Postdoctoral Researcher in Biomedical Wearable Sensors
The UCAM-SENS research unit is seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher specializing in biomedical wearable sensors. If you have a strong track record in designing and testing innovative epidermal and intradermal sensors for ions, biomolecules, proteins, or hormones, we encourage you to apply.
In this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of postdocs, PhD students, and research trainees, contributing to cutting-edge developments in wearable technology.
Requirements
Technical Expertise
- Experience in designing and fabricating novel epidermal wearable sensors.
- Integration of chemical and biochemical sensors into wearable devices.
- Advanced knowledge of electrochemistry and microfluidics.
- Basic proficiency in electronic circuitry, firmware, and electrical connections.
- Analytical validation and on-body assessment.
Skills
- Strong academic leadership and team management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
Qualifications
- PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering (completed).
Research Outcomes
- At least 5 peer-reviewed publications in biomedical wearable sensors (attach with application).
