Works under general supervision and provides complex administrative support work for the College of Business's Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) Program.
Responsibilities:
- Performs word processing, desktop publishing, presentation, and data management activities, and assists DBA Directors and proofreading. Creates and maintains spreadsheets and databases for DBA students, prospects, and contacts.
- Applies, interprets, and communicates policies and procedures and serves as a resource for answering questions regarding policies and procedures as it relates to the DBA program and the College of Business.
- Maintains office supplies and equipment. Maintains office reference materials, including electronic office materials. Delivers, picks up, or receives documents, supplies, equipment, or materials for the program. Processes position and hiring request for faculty teaching DBA courses in Workday.
- Composes and prepares professional reports and correspondence. Prepares mail merges and uses required database software applications. Performs initial client intake services by completing intake form either by phone or by face-to-face contact with potential clients.
- Organizes and participates in DBA information sessions by assisting DBA Directors and faculty with developing and scheduling training workshops/events, such as posting to the DBA website, confirming workshop presenters, arranging advertisements in local newspapers and media outlets, and creating/maintaining related databases.
- Order and prepare meals for Executive MBA students. Saturday: Helps coordinate meals and class materials. Address and resolve any EMBA-related issues that arise during the residency in consultation with the EMBA program director.
- Performs other duties as assigned by director.
Required Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three years of related experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Other Requirements:
- Position may require working non-traditional hours to include evening and weekends.
