Administrative Support (Student)
Summary: The Administrative Support position is a student employee who will be working in an administrative capacity and does not have a Federal Work Study (FWS) award.
Responsibilities:
- Responding accurately and promptly to high volumes of email inquiries using predetermined FAQ templates, analyzing data to determine if applicants meet International Admissions’ application requirements, reviewing certain documents submitted by students/counselors to ensure accuracy and authenticity, and special projects as assigned.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Part-Time. Current AU student. Up to 20 scheduled hours per week. The work is varied, fast paced, and challenging, but fun too!
Salary Range: $17.95 - $18.25 per hour.
Required Education and Experience: Careful attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently as part of a team of student workers, excellent time management, critical thinking, organizational, administrative, and written communications skills in English.
Preferred Education and Experience: Two years of availability to work in this position is preferred. An interest in learning more about international education and admissions is recommended.
