"Assistant Professor, Computer Science (Tenure Track)"

Responsibilities

• Conducts a requisite number of classes
• Teaches assigned subject
• Teaching undergraduate computer science courses, including computer applications, computer languages, Database Management, UNIX/Linux Programming, Computer Networking, Object-Oriented Programming, etc.
• Provides guidance and supervision to students
• Creating and maintaining an environment conducive to excellence in teaching, research and services
• Preparation and formulation of curricula for computer science accreditation
• Managing computer science labs in the department
• Providing advisement for students
• Participating in academic services to the department, school, and university
• Other related duties, as assigned

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or in Information Technologies from an accredited school.
• A B.S. degree in Computer Science or Mathematics is a plus.
• Strong evidence of excellence in teaching and research in higher education institutions
