Job Summary

The Laboratory of Geo-information Science and Remote Sensing is seeking an innovative expert in spatiotemporal analysis with a passion for teaching and research. The role involves contributing to educational programs and research activities in geostatistics, uncertainty assessment, and GeoAI, while fostering collaboration within the group.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and teach courses in collaboration with colleagues.
• Acquire, lead, and implement innovative research projects.
• Supervise PhD candidates and MSc students.
• Contribute to the continued development of the Laboratory of Geo-Information Science and Remote Sensing.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A completed PhD in Geography or a related field, with a scientific track record in geostatistics and spatial uncertainty assessment.
• Affinity with GeoAI methods and applications.
• Proven experience with international collaboration on the topic.
• An open and inviting approach to education and teamwork.
• Relevant and well-evaluated teaching experience.
• Fluency in English at level C1.
