Position Summary
Provides administrative support for clinical and scheduling applications. Implements system updates, enhancements, and configuration changes as directed to align with departmental operational and clinical objectives. Performs administrative functions, collects and manages data sets, and maintains databases to ensure accuracy and availability for reporting and analysis.
Job Responsibilities
- Updates clinical staffing assignments and communicates changes to relevant parties as needed.
- Assists with maintenance of department scheduling system operations, including data entry, report generation, and connecting OR Manager schedules.
- Provides administrative scheduling systems analysis and support, ensuring smooth operation of software applications.
- Provides technical support and assistance to end users as needed.
- Manipulates and compiles data, including both scheduling and financial, for reporting and analysis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Implements system modifications and enhancements as directed, ensuring quality control, system performance, and reliability.
- Creates and distributes standard and ad-hoc scheduling and compensation reports, ensuring timely delivery and escalating issues as necessary.
- Educates department personnel on application workflows and supports integration across various systems.
- Performs other related duties as directed.
Education
Bachelor's degree required
Experience
Bachelor's Degree required; a focus in healthcare operations, health administration, or a related discipline preferred.
Experience with electronic health record systems.
Knowledge of clinical scheduling software platforms.
