Lector Customer Perspective in Support and Care
Job Summary: This role involves leading a professorship in the Flevoland region, focusing on customer perspectives in support and care. You will develop and embed interdisciplinary research within a growing knowledge center, build networks, and connect care, welfare, research, and the professional field. The professorship emphasizes strengthening resilient families, promoting inclusion, and optimizing care logistics, primarily in the Flevoland region.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a long-term research strategy in collaboration with regional and international partners, ensuring scientific quality and relevance to education and the professional field.
- Initiate and guide research projects that contribute to curriculum renewal, professional innovation, and societal impact.
- Build strategic partnerships with national and international research institutions, care organizations, and policymakers.
- Represent the institution in scientific and societal networks, contribute to policy developments, and secure external funding and subsidies.
- Integrate research results into education, develop lifelong learning programs, and create accessible knowledge infrastructure for the professional field and education.
- Lead a team of 15 researchers, guide PhD candidates, associate professors, and lecturers, and develop professionalization programs to enhance research skills.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- PhD degree.
- At least 3 years of management experience, preferably in a research or educational organization.
- Proven experience in building and leading interdisciplinary research programs.
- Strong track record in securing long-term subsidies and external funding.
- Experience with research focusing on customer perspectives in support and care.
- Experience working with experts by experience and integrating diverse perspectives into research and education.
- Expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Didactic skills for guiding researchers, PhD candidates, and teaching students and professionals.
- International orientation is preferred.
- Fluent in Dutch, both spoken and written.
What the Employer Offers:
- A gross monthly salary between €7,006 and €9,046 (scale 15 HBO collective labor agreement) for 32-40 hours per week.
- A 2-year employment contract.
