Manager, Multicampus Student Services

Why your role matters

We are seeking a strategic and collaborative leader to drive the design, governance, and continuous improvement of student lifecycle services across multiple campuses and delivery models, both onshore and offshore. In this pivotal role, you will shape scalable, compliant, and high-quality service models that enhance the student experience at every stage of their journey.

Working closely with a diverse network of internal and external stakeholders, you will translate regulatory, policy, and contractual requirements into practical, sustainable solutions that support the University’s internationalisation and multicampus strategy.

Reporting to the Student Experience Business Partner, this role offers the opportunity to influence institutional direction and deliver meaningful impact without direct staff management responsibilities.

If you’re passionate about innovation in student services and thrive in complex, multi-campus environments, we’d love to hear from you.

Specific accountabilities include:

  • Provide leadership and coordination of Division of Education and Student Experience (DESE) and Registrar and Student Services (RaSS) input (encompassing administrative and support services across the student lifecycle) to multicampus and transnational initiatives across their full lifecycle, from establishment through to transition, renewal, or disestablishment.
  • In collaboration with subject matter experts, lead the co-design and implementation of student lifecycle processes for onshore and offshore contexts, ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks (including the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) and the Education Services for Overseas Students Act), University policies and procedures, and other identified business requirements.
  • Lead partner audits, internal reviews, and governance and reporting requirements, providing authoritative advice on compliance, risk, and opportunities for improvement in student lifecycle delivery.
  • Provide evidence based, strategic advice to senior leaders on the viability, risk profile, and enhancement opportunities of current and prospective initiatives, informed by student lifecycle data, stakeholder feedback, and regulatory considerations.
  • Facilitate and enable collaboration across RaSS, DESE, faculties, and partner areas to support integrated, efficient, and consistent student lifecycle process design and delivery across campuses and delivery modes.

About You:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education/training.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory, quality assurance, and compliance requirements relevant to Higher Education and Transnational Education models, including offshore delivery of AQF qualifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate complex multicampus or international education initiatives involving multiple stakeholders across cultural, geographic, and institutional boundaries.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management capability, with a proven ability to influence, negotiate, and build effective relationships at senior levels internally and externally.
  • Advanced analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving capability, including the synthesis of complex information to inform senior decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project and change management and business analysis, including the practical application of recognised methodologies in complex organisational environments.
  • Strong understanding of the student lifecycle (from admissions through to graduation), with in-depth expertise in one or more lifecycle stages and an appreciation of end-to-end impacts.
  • Ability to operate effectively through ambiguity, working independently and collaboratively to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes.
  • Strong attention to detail, including experience preparing high-quality reports, briefings, governance documentation, and stakeholder communications
