Part-Time Faculty, LGBTQ Studies Program
Established in 2005, the LGBTQ studies program offers students the opportunity to complete a minor in the interdisciplinary field of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Studies. The LGBTQ Studies Program, within the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences at DePaul University, invites expressions of interest for adjunct faculty teaching opportunities. These part-time teaching opportunities may be available throughout the academic year. In 2025-2026, we will continue to have particular interest in applicants with expertise in Transgender Studies and in Introduction to LGBTQ Studies. Applicants with expertise that matches course scheduling needs will be contacted for an interview. Academic course needs fluctuate from quarter to quarter, appointments are made on a course-by-course basis, and subsequent appointments are not guaranteed. Qualifications: Ph.D., M.F.A., or M.A. in related fields and teaching experience at the collegiate level in any disciplinary area of LGBTQ Studies. Teachers should be prepared to teach from an inter-disciplinary perspective and be familiar with online teaching modalities.
