Acting as the first point of contact for students, you will respond to online student enquiries, providing quality advice, assistance and information to ensure online students receive the support needed to thrive in their academic pursuits at Adelaide University.

The team
Reporting to the Team Lead, Student Assist, along with directly dealing with students, you will also interact with the broader student assist teams, such as Student and Academic Services, Student Retention and success Team and AU Online teams.

Experience
To join our community and thrive in this role, you will likely have the following skills and experience:
- Develop and manage tailored study plans for students (including those affected by curriculum changes or academic progress issues).
- Identifying and meeting student needs through timely and accurate information via phone, email, and online chat.
- Support at-risk students through early intervention, academic review, and progression monitoring processes.
- Assessing and prioritising matters raised by students, collaborating with University staff to resolve issues, and referring students to appropriate areas for detailed support.
- Deliver pre-emptive support for students based on key risk indicators.
- Collaborating with staff across the AU Online, AU Student Assist and Student Retention and Success Teams to facilitate information sharing, enquiry support where needed, and consistency of systems and processes.
