Position Summary
The Department of Gender and Intercultural Studies at SUNY Cortland is accepting applications to fill potential part-time adjunct faculty openings for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Major Responsibilities
A classroom based 3 credit hour course pays $4500 per class. The department typically hires for the courses/subject areas listed below but this list is not all inclusive. Other courses/subject areas may become available within the department. Some of the courses are:
- Introduction to Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies
- Introduction to Cultural Studies
- Colloquium in Women's, Gender and sexuality
- Social Construction of Men and Masculinities
- Women and Sports
- Sexism and Heterosexism: An Integrated Study
- Introduction to Native American Studies
Required Qualifications
Appropriate level of experience and/or Master's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Terminal degree preferred.
