Administrative Assistant for Bulbs
Job Summary
This role involves collecting and administering financial and sustainability data for bulb companies within the Business Information Network (BIN). You will manage a portfolio of bulb companies or another horticultural sector, handle relationship management with entrepreneurs, and work from one of several regional offices.
Responsibilities
- Collect financial and sustainability data from a fixed group of BIN companies through business administration, digital sources, accountancy records, or questionnaires.
- Record the collected data in a database and make it available to fellow researchers.
- Maintain relationship management with BIN participants by preparing annual reports on business results and key environmental indicators.
- Create digital comparative overviews on MijnAgrimatie.nl.
- Present reports during visits to entrepreneurs, answer questions, and initiate data collection for the new year.
- Recruit new participants annually to the BIN network, involving about one day per week of travel for full-time positions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A completed education in (business) economics or agricultural studies at MBO or HBO level, preferably supplemented with a Modern Business Administration (MBA) diploma, or willingness to obtain one (with costs covered by the employer).
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the operations of bulb companies or another horticultural sector.
- Strong numerical skills, experience with digital bookkeeping systems and financial automation processes, meticulous work approach, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues and entrepreneurs.
- Possession of a valid driver's license B.
