Administrative Employee in Arable, Land or Horticulture
Job Summary: In this role, you collect and administer financial and sustainability data from agricultural companies for the Bedrijveninformatienet (BIN). You manage a portfolio of agricultural companies, handle relationship management with entrepreneurs, and work from one of several regional offices.
Responsibilities:
- Collect financial and sustainability data from a fixed group of BIN companies through business administration, digital sources, accountancy records, or questionnaires.
- Record the collected data in a database and make it available to fellow researchers.
- Maintain relationship management with BIN participants by preparing annual reports on business results and key environmental indicators, and creating digital comparative overviews on MijnAgrimatie.nl.
- Present these reports to entrepreneurs during visits, answer questions, and initiate data collection for the new year.
- Annually recruit new participants to the Bedrijveninformatienet to offset natural turnover, involving about one day per week of travel for full-time positions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A completed (business) economic education at MBO or HBO level, or an agricultural education at MBO or HBO level, preferably supplemented with a Modern Business Administration (MBA) diploma; willingness to obtain it with employer-covered costs.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with operations on an agricultural business.
- Strong numerical skills, experience with digital bookkeeping systems and financial automation processes, meticulous work approach, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues and entrepreneurs.
- Possession of a valid B driving license.
