The Department of Anthropology at the University of Notre Dame seeks an archaeologist to join our collegial, dynamic, and integrative four-field department. This tenure-track Assistant Professor position will begin in August 2026. We seek a scholar-teacher with an innovative and productive research program whose scholarship complements or extends our existing departmental faculty expertise.
Our department possesses an active program of undergraduate research and attracts top graduate students. Those candidates who can involve undergraduates in research will be particularly appealing.
