Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up fields/locations for game day by moving goals, nets, moving/setting up tables, putting out signage, etc.
- Clean up fields/locations after games including taking down all equipment and storing it properly.
- Assist with game day operations such as ball retrieval, statistics and record keeping, scoreboard operations, scorebook, libero tracking, line judging, and timekeeping.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to lift 20 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Available to work afternoons, evenings, and occasional Saturdays
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
For volleyball game day assistants, knowledge of NJCAA volleyball rules or previous volleyball experience is required.
HOURS NEEDED
Hours will vary week to week. Hours may vary from 5 to 10 hours per week depending on game schedule. Most soccer and lacrosse games take place late afternoon to early evening. Expect to work for 3-5 hours per game. Volleyball games take place at Coppermine Pantherplex in Hampstead, MD.
