"Neurology Resident in Eastern Netherlands (OOR ON)"

Job Summary: As a Neurology Resident, you will be trained in all aspects of neurology, including clinical and outpatient work, while also focusing on personal development. The training occurs across three hospitals in the region during mandatory and elective rotations.

Responsibilities: Perform clinical duties on the Stroke Unit, neurology ward, Emergency Department, and consultations; Conduct outpatient work; Supervise and teach medical students and nurses; Participate in research and organizational activities.

Qualifications and Requirements: Hold a medical degree (completed study in Medicine); Demonstrate interest and enthusiasm for neurology; Possess clinical work experience; Be willing to develop talents in broader areas such as research, organization, or education; Have a flexible, positive attitude, good social skills, and be a team player.

What the Employer Offers: A fixed-term contract for the duration of the 6-year training program, starting in the first half of 2026; Salary based on the collective labor agreement for university medical centers (cao umc, scale 11A at Radboudumc) or hospitals (cao ziekenhuizen, FWG 65 at CWZ/Rijnstate), depending on the hiring hospital; Opportunities for specialization in neurology subfields within a supportive environment in three well-organized training clinics.
