Job Description
- Full-time, 2 Years Fixed-Term position at HEW Level 7.
- Penrith campus with flexible working arrangements.
- Salary: $104,953 – $113,204 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.
Lead the coordination of scholarship programs that directly support learner success.
The Opportunity
This role plays a vital part in delivering the University’s student scholarship programs, with a strong focus on administering the Commonwealth Prac Payments. You will manage end-to-end processes including application assessment, eligibility verification, offers, payments, record maintenance, ongoing monitoring, and compliance. Your work ensures students receive accurate, timely support aligned with government and University requirements.
You will maintain high-quality student records and uphold data integrity through auditing, data cleansing, and quality assurance activities. Partnering with IT, data teams, and academic and professional units, you will support system readiness and process improvements that uplift the overall student experience. Your work helps ensure scholarship administration aligns with broader University timelines and operational cycles.
You will also contribute to drafting communications, operational updates, and internal briefings, along with preparing reports and insights to inform program delivery and evaluation. Representing the scholarship team in meetings and working groups, you will play a key role in improving practices and enhancing stakeholder engagement across the University.
What Success Looks Like:
- Deliver accurate, student-centred administration of Commonwealth Prac Payments across the full scholarship lifecycle.
- Maintain reliable, high-integrity student records through strong systems and quality assurance practices.
- Build and sustain collaborative relationships with academic units, placement offices, and internal partners.
- Prepare clear briefings, reports, and updates to support program oversight and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to evaluating and enhancing domestic scholarship processes and compliance activities.

About You
- Experience coordinating scholarship, financial support, or related student programs with strong operational capability.
- High-level proficiency in maintaining and validating data across student systems with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to develop productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders across complex environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to professional, student-centred service.
- Proven ability to manage timelines, coordinate multiple deliverables, and align processes to organisational cycles.
