If so, an exciting opportunity is now available for a Senior Career Education Advisor to lead career learning initiatives at our Ipswich and Springfield campuses, a strategic priority location supporting a rapidly growing cohort of students - particularly those enrolled in allied health programs.

Who you are

You’re a natural educator who is motivated by supporting student growth and development. You will be skilled in designing engaging, evidence-based learning activities and building authentic relationships with academics, students and industry professionals.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Senior Manager (Career Education), you will:

  • Provide high-quality career guidance and personalised career advice to current students, recent graduates, and prospective students across multiple delivery modes.
  • Lead the design, delivery and evaluation of career education and employability learning, embedded across programs and delivered through innovative curricular and co-curricular initiatives.
  • Partner with academic staff to co-design learning resources and activities that embed career development and connect students with real-world and industry contexts.
  • Champion career outreach initiatives, supporting schools, study hubs, and community organisations to inspire early engagement in tertiary education, with a focus on underrepresented student cohorts.

What will help you succeed

Together with your relevant qualification, you will have:

  • Registration (or eligibility for registration) as a Career Professional with the Career Industry Council of Australia.
  • A Blue Card (or be eligible to hold and maintain a Blue Card).
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering career guidance and education services, including triage, assessments, and targeted interventions for diverse student populations.
  • Expertise in learning, teaching and curriculum development to support effective career development initiatives.
  • Strong capability in planning, project management, and using contemporary career development tools and technologies.
  • Experience engaging diverse learners, including adult learners and underrepresented student cohorts.

Salary: Total remuneration range $119,378 to $132,004 pa (includes salary range of $100,677 to $111,325 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
