Enrolment Specialist Coordinator

About the Role

The Enrolment Specialist Coordinator reports to the Senior Manager, Enrolments and is responsible for delivering high-quality enrolment services that support students to progress through their studies and complete their course in line with University requirements. The role supports Higher Education, Vocational Education, and Foundation and Pathways students, while working collaboratively with colleagues across the University to ensure smooth and effective enrolment outcomes.

This role manages a range of time-critical services that have a direct impact on the student experience. Responsibilities include managing advanced standing outcomes within student study plans, supporting course completion activities, and assisting students to amend their enrolment throughout their studies. The Enrolment Specialist, Coordinator also acts as a key escalation point, working closely with academic staff and colleagues across Student Administration to resolve complex enrolment matters and ensure students remain on track.

The role also contributes to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and policies to reduce effort for both students and staff. Working with the Senior Manager, Enrolments and key stakeholders, the incumbent supports the implementation of improvements, communicates changes across the team, and contributes to a collaborative and flexible team environment that responds to operational priorities.

About You

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Significant experience in the coordination of student / client service functions and demonstrated ability to deliver high quality services to a range of stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to establish and communicate clear priorities from competing demands
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in the provision of service, quality and the promotion of a culture of continuous improvement
  • High level of analytical and problem solving skills with a demonstrated ability to investigate and make informed decisions regarding complex issues

Qualifications

Knowledge or training equivalent to:

  • a degree with at least 4 years subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
