Job Description

Recruitment Outreach Specialist (Staff Assistant), Corporate and Professional Education Non-Unit Professional position, 37.5 hours/week Campus Location: Danvers Campus (office location) In Person (Hybrid Options) Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (some after hour events) SALARY: Anticipated salary range $60,000.00 - $65,000.00. The offered salary will be commensurate with experience and education, but will not exceed the stated range. GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Recruitment Outreach Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies to increase non-credit enrollment. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and outreach support to prospective students, enhancing connections with local community-based organizations, and targeting key populations for non-credit programs. Additionally, the specialist will identify new recruitment opportunities, measure the effectiveness of outreach efforts, and refine strategies to maximize engagement and enrollment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Outreach Strategy Development:
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to attract new students through targeted outreach initiatives including email campaigns, social media engagement, community partnerships, and event coordination.
  • Conduct research to identify key student demographics, industry trends, and untapped markets to refine outreach efforts and tailor messaging effectively.
Recruitment Events & Activities:
  • Responsible for identifying recruitment activities targeting an non-credit audience.
  • Represents Corporate & Professional Education at fairs, alumni activities, open houses, campus tours, school visits, community fairs, and other recruitment events and assist in the organization of these activities- MCCC
  • Participates in specialized activities with our Advisor (LB) such as recruitment events which may fall during evening or weekend hours.
Customer Support & Engagement:
  • Provide prospective students with timely and accurate information about programs, registration, and financial assistance, ensuring a seamless enrollment experience. Provides excellent front-line customer service consistently communicating with new student inquiries.
  • Responsible for monitoring email and phone inquiries.
Data Management & Analysis:
  • Ensure accurate data entry of student records in Coursestorm and the college's data management system, while managing the daily exports of student registrations.
  • Identifies and resolves errors and liaises with IT to solve technical issues.
  • Tracks and analyzes enrollment data, outreach effectiveness, and engagement metrics to assess the impact of recruitment strategies and recommend improvements.
Faculty Support
  • Manage faculty evaluations processes, sending evaluations to students and managing student responses using Qualtrics
  • Manage instructor syllabi, including electronic review, and maintain an organized syllabus archive.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Director of Operations Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communication, or a related field, with a minimum of two years of professional experience.
  • Experience in customer service, student recruitment, or outreach strategy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Ability to analyze data and measure the impact of outreach efforts
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, marketing platforms, and data reporting tools, with experience in technology and database systems.
  • Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of outreach and recruitment
  • Must have the ability to travel and work evenings and weekends for such events as Open Houses, College Fairs, community engagements.
  • Ability and desire to work effectively within a fast-paced, rapidly growing, intense, and multifunctional office environment.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or National background check as a condition of employment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
