Job Description:

SUNY Broome Community College is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, salaried, 12-month, live-in, Assistant Director of Residential Life for the Student Village. This administrative position reports to the Director of Housing and Residential Life (Director).

The Assistant Director of Residential Life (ADRL) supports the department's operations, policies, and procedures, and works with campus partners to achieve student success initiatives. Primarily focused on the students and their success, the Assistant Director is also responsible for the recruitment, selection, training, and supervision of the Resident Assistants (RAs). In addition, they oversee Student Village programming and collaborate with the Assistant Director of Housing (ADH) in a variety of initiatives and operations, as well as campus partners, in support of residents. The ADRL manages and performs administrative functions as required thus ensuring the Student Village is a safe living and learning environment. The ADRL supervises the department in the absence of the Director and the ADH. May supervise other student staff and graduate staff/interns.

Additional Information:

The minimum annual salary rate for this position is $62,147. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
