About the Area

The Legal, Assurance and Integrity Division provides a centralised and coordinated approach to complaints, investigations, wellbeing and safety across the University. The Complaints & Investigations Team operates under a hybrid model, managing disclosures, complaints and investigations in partnership with academic and professional units. The team plays a vital role in supporting fair, transparent and trauma informed processes that uphold the University’s commitment to integrity, accountability and a safe, respectful campus environment.

About the Role

The Case Advisor plays a pivotal role in the intake, triage and resolution of complaints involving staff and students. You will assess disclosures, determine appropriate referral pathways, and manage a caseload of matters using trauma informed, procedurally fair and confidential case management practices. The role provides expert advice to staff and students on safety, wellbeing and complaint resolution processes, and prepares case summaries, reports and recommendations to support decision making.

You will also contribute to the development of procedures, templates and tools that strengthen case management capability, and support education and training initiatives related to complaints, wellbeing and integrity. This role is well suited to someone with strong judgement, excellent communication skills and the ability to work sensitively and collaboratively in complex and high stakes situations, helping to foster a safe, inclusive and respectful university community.
